Impressive chassis and suspension technologies in the new 2023 Range Rover Sport
June 01 2022,
The all-new, completely redesigned 2023 Range Rover Sport unveiled earlier in may has been improved in every possible way. We will cover the most significant changes on the Range Rover Sport every week, and there is certainly a lot to cover. That said, we wanted to focus first on the improvements made to the chassis and suspension that will make this new-generation Range Rover Sport one of the most dynamic ever built.
The improvements made to the chassis and suspension will make the Range Rover Sport more comfortable as well, more luxurious, and more capable.
All-Wheel steering
The AWS system can rotate the rear wheels by 7.3 degrees to ensure improved agility at low speeds while also making the Sport more stable at higher speeds.
Torque Vectoring by Braking
Inside wheels can brake during turn in to improve cornering capability and overall stability.
Adaptive Dynamics
Twin-valve, Bilstein monotube dampers adjust to the road and driving dynamics to ensure optimal comfort, stability, and support in any situation.
Dynamic Air Suspension
The switchable twin air chambers deliver improved pitch and roll reduction when taking corners quickly
Electronic Active Differential
The Electronic Active Differential will control slip along the rear axle to ensure the highest level of traction in any situation.
Dynamic Response Pro
This system can counter lateral roll using a 48V electronic anti-roll system that can add significant torque to the wheels to control body movements.
