2022 Range Rover Evoque: even more interesting

The Range Rover Evoque will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2022 and for the occasion, it benefits from small improvements that make it even more interesting, sometimes with a richer equipment, sometimes with the addition of more colorful variants.

Let's see how the offer for the 2022 Evoque goes.

It all starts with the S version, which gets even more equipment right off the bat. The model comes with LED headlights, heated mirrors with welcome lighting, a power liftgate, 18-inch wheels, heated steering wheel and front seats, dual-zone climate control, upholstery with ebony grained leather accents, keyless entry, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto apps with a 10-inch center console screen.

In terms of safety, this variant is already complete with lane keeping assist, driver status monitoring and traffic sign recognition. The Terrain Response 2 management system is also included.

Upgrading to the SE model adds 20-inch wheels in a high-gloss silver finish, the Blind Spot Monitoring Package (side, exit clearance and rear cross traffic), and the dual 10-inch touchscreen interior configuration; one for the multimedia system, the other for vehicle functions.

If you opt for the R-Dynamic version, you mainly benefit from an aesthetic appearance package that greatly differentiates the model, both on the outside and inside, for example with "satin chrome" gearshift paddles and dark aluminum appliques.

Finally, put some color into your summer with the Range Rover Evoque Bronze Edition. This model features a sliding panoramic roof, a black appearance package, but most importantly, a bronze roof that can be matched with three body colors.

And if you want to go further down the line, you can go for the HST version. This one offers the R-Dynamic package, but with even more distinctive elements such as a contrasting black roof, metallic pedals, ebony suede headlining, and a Meridian sound system.

Mechanically, you have two main options: the 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that offers 246 horsepower. You can also opt for the version of this block that takes advantage of light hybridization. That pushes the capacity to 296 horsepower, but more importantly, it allows you to drive a little greener. A nine-speed automatic transmission is standard throughout.

For the rest, the pleasure grows with use with this Range Rover Evoque. Tell yourself that it is as pleasant to drive as it is to look at. That says a lot about the experience it offers.
