Three Impressive Features of the Land Rover Discovery

The Land Rover Discovery is an impressive premium SUV that stands out from its competition via its off-road capabilities, its luxury, and its practicality.

The Terrain Response system

A Land Rover exclusive, the Terrain Response system allows the Discovery to be one of the most capable vehicles in its category when it comes to off-roading or driving on snowy and icy roads. This technology uses many sensors to monitor the performance of the vehicle’s powertrain at all times in order to detect any trace of wheel slip. The driver can use this system by selecting the type of terrain they are driving on, such as sand, snow, or mud, or they can let it determine the best settings to use on its own by leaving it in automatic mode. Combined with the advanced all-wheel-drive system and the adaptive suspension, this technology makes the Discovery almost unstoppable.

A luxurious cabin

The land Rover Discovery is a very luxurious SUV that offers a high level of comfort to all of its occupants with features you might not expect in this category. For example, the Discovery can be equipped with a four-zone automatic climate control system that allows the driver, the front passenger, and both middle-row occupants to choose the temperature they prefer. In addition, the Discovery offers many options for the front seating, one of which is for 20-way power adjustable buckets that are both heated and ventilated and also offer a massaging function.

Up to 2,100 litres of cargo space

Another impressive feature of the Land Rover Discovery is its very generous cargo compartment that can be modulated by folding down both of the rear rows of seats at once or as needed. Folding all of the seats allows the Discovery to offer up to 2,100 litres of space that can be used to carry very large items that wouldn’t fit in many other vehicles. If passengers need to be on board, folding down only the third row still leaves 1,274 litres of space for their luggage.

Discovery Sport Beach Days Pack: What's in It and How Montréal Families Actually Use It This Summer

The Discovery Sport has always been built around the idea that a family SUV should handle every version of a day out — not just the commute. For summer in Québec, that means beach days on the South Shore, afternoons at Lac-Memphrémagog, and impromptu detours to the waterfront at Parc national du Mont-Orford.
