The new Land Rover Defender will have 170 available accessories

The Land Rover Defender was unveiled a few months ago to the world, and just last week in North America at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Last sold in 1988 in North America, the Defender will return in 2020 with a brand-new design, more features than ever, and the same go-anywhere personality that has earned it such an enviable reputation.

In Los Angeles, Land Rover said the new Defender has become a lot more refined and will be as comfortable as it is agile off the beaten path. It will also be customizable to the desires of the new owner with over 170 available accessories. This should help the new Defender appeal to a much wider audience.

“It has an appropriate level of refinement and comfort,” says Finbar McFall, Jaguar Land Rover product marketing director. The Defender “will definitely now appeal to a broader and bigger SUV market.”
