The many versions of the 2019 Range Rover Sport

The 2019 Range Rover Sport is one of the most popular sport utility vehicles in its segment, and it’s been like that since its introduction on the market more than 10 years ago. Today, the Range Rover Sport remains the benchmark in terms of balance between ruggedness and refinement.

With a Range Rover Sport, we are as comfortable on the highway and in the city as we are on an off-road trail. Starting at $ 79,300, it comes standard with the Terrain Response system, which offers a variety of driving modes that deliver optimal performance under all circumstances and over any road.

However, the popularity of the Range Rover Sport can also be explained by the many versions that we find in the lineup. With no less than 6 models and 6 engines available, there is really a Range Rover Sport for every taste and every need. Let's take a look at the six versions of the 2019 Range Rover Sport.

SE

The Range Rover Sport SE comes with either a 340 horsepower V6 engine or a 254 horsepower TD6 diesel engine. It comes standard with 19-inch wheels, a parking assistance system with rear-view camera and sensors, a lane departure prevention system and more.

HSE

The Range Rover HSE is available with 20-inch wheels and a parking assist system with 360-degree camera. It also offers blind spot monitoring, 16-position Windsor leather seats and a 380-watt Meridian sound system. It is available with a Td6 diesel engine, a supercharged V6 and a plug-in hybrid engine delivering 398 horsepower in the P400e version.

HSE Dynamic

The HSE Dynamic adds 21-inch wheels, 22-position seats and more exclusive leather with heating and ventilation features, and an even more powerful 825-watt Meridian system.

Supercharged Dynamic

The Supercharged Dynamic model stands out mainly because of its 518-horsepower supercharged V8 engine, 21-inch wheels and Terrain Response with dynamic program.

Autobiography Dynamic

The Autobiography model incorporates several elements of the other models but adds a touch of exclusivity with exclusive finishes, trims and design elements. To stand out in traffic it's probably the model you are looking for. It offers the same 518-horsepower engine as the Range Rover Sport Supercharged.

SVR

The Range Rover Sport SVR is the monster of the family. With 575 horsepower under your right foot, you'll reach 100 km/h in less than 5.0 seconds. The Range Rover Sport SVR also features exclusive design elements, more aggressive styling, unique 21-inch wheels and a louder, sportier exhaust.

Range Rover Long Wheelbase Seven-Seat: Why Montreal's Executive Families Are Paying Attention

Most seven-seat luxury SUVs ask you to accept a trade-off. The third row gets the space, but it comes at the cost of rear-seat refinement, cargo volume, or the kind of ride quality that makes a long vehicle feel composed rather than cumbersome. The Range Rover Long Wheelbase (LWB) with seven seats was engineered to reject that compromise. It adds 200 mm to the wheelbase over the Standard... Read more
