The 2023 Range Rover Sport is Revolutionizing Off-Road Performance with Adaptive Technologies

Redefining off-road prowess, the 2023 Range Rover Sport emerges as Land Rover's most dynamically capable luxury performance SUV to date, combining intelligent all-wheel drive (iAWD) and pioneering all-terrain technology.

Boasting the latest Terrain Response system, the Range Rover Sport discerningly adjusts to various terrains and conditions. The intelligent system autonomously detects the surface and terrain and adapts the chassis for optimal handling. The driver is informed of these changes via the Pivi Pro touchscreen. Together with the comprehensive chassis systems, it ensures effective off-road progress, underscoring Land Rover's commitment to innovation and dynamic capability.

Notably, the 2023 model introduces Adaptive Off-Road Cruise Control. As the first Land Rover vehicle to feature this technology, it sets new standards for off-road performance. This system, a marked evolution of All-Terrain Progress Control, allows drivers to pre-set their desired speed and comfort level from a choice of four settings when traversing challenging terrains. In effect, this system enables drivers to concentrate solely on steering, paving the way for a consistent, comfortable journey across rough surfaces.

According to Rory O'Murchu, Vehicle Line Director at Jaguar Land Rover, the vehicle's advanced chassis dynamics augment its impressive off-road performance. "New Range Rover Sport utilizes its hardware and software to full effect, which is the first Land Rover vehicle to feature our new Adaptive Off-Road Cruise Control, specifically designed to assist drivers in navigating difficult terrains," O'Murchu said.

The SUV's production will exclusively take place at the Solihull Manufacturing Facility in the UK. The state-of-the-art production line within the building that once produced early Series Land Rovers epitomizes the company's ability to safeguard its rich heritage while embracing modern technology. As such, this storied location remains the spiritual home of Land Rover and the ultra-modern center for Range Rover and Range Rover Sport production.

Through its intelligent design and ground-breaking technologies, the 2023 Range Rover Sport is shaping the future of off-road driving, providing motorists with enhanced control, comfort, and dynamic capability.

The Range Rover Long Wheelbase (LWB) with seven seats was engineered to reject that compromise. It adds 200 mm to the wheelbase over the Standard... Read more
