The 2022 Land Rover Discovery : At Home on Any Terrain

The 2022 Land Rover Discovery is an off-road capable luxury SUV that is also practical enough to take care of all of your family’s transportation needs.

The capabilities

The 2022 Land Rover Discovery is one of the most capable SUVs in its segment since it benefits from Land Rover’s long heritage in off-road driving excellence. The Discovery is equipped with all of the most advanced technologies engineered to improve its abilities over all kinds of surfaces. For example, the Discovery comes standard with the famed Terrain Response system that uses a multitude of sensors to determine the type of ground the vehicle is driving on and then adjust parameters relating to the engine, the transmission and the suspension in order to make progress easier and safer, no matter if you are driving in heavy snow, thick mud, sand or plain asphalt.

The standard all-wheel drive system is able to manage the power sent to each individual wheel at all times to ensure you don’t get stuck. The Discovery is now available with a mild hybrid system which can also help with off-road driving by providing a boost of low-end torque while improving the fuel economy during regular driving. This makes it an ideal choice if you want a refined vehicle that is capable of driving to your remote cabin and to keep you safe on slippery roads.

The Practicality

The 2022 Land Rover Discovery is a very practical vehicle due to its overall shape and its seven seats. The Discovery is equipped with three rows of full-size seats that provide space and comfort to everyone on board. If you need to carry a lot of cargo, you can fold the third row to reveal 1,166 liters of space that still allow you to seat five people.

For very large objects or the maximum amount of cargo, the second row can also be folded down to create a large, 2,370-liter loading space behind the two front seats, enough to carry anything you could need.
