New Land Rover Defender 130 might be the three-row SUV you've been waiting for

Land Rover has announced that it will be unveiling a new model on May 31, a model called the 2023 Land Rover Defender 130.

Although Land Rover hasn't provided much detail on this new model, we believe the British luxury automaker is preparing a three-row version of its popular Defender model. That would make sense if we follow the current naming structure of the Defender lineup.

The Land Rover Defender 90 is a two-door version of the Defender while the 110 is a four-door version. A 130 model will theoretically be a version with a longer wheelbase. Now this may not mean a third row as Land Rover may simply give us a more spacious version of the Defender with more rear leg room, but it would make sense to introduce a three-row model.

A three-row 2023 Land Rover Defender 130 would be one of the most appealing luxury SUVs for a family when it arrives on the market. You would get all the ruggedness and head-turning style of the Defender in a even more practical format. This model would likely get a choice of six-cylinder engines as well as a V-8 option. Of course, none of this has been confirmed and we will have to wait until May 31 to get more info. Still, the idea of a three-row Defender has us very excited. Stay tuned as we will bring you all of the details on May 31.
