Land Rover could turn the Defender into a remote-controlled vehicle

Land Rover introduced its brand-new Defender a few weeks ago at the Frankfurt Motor Show and already the UK manufacturer is working on a new technology that could further facilitate off-road driving.


The 2020 Land Rover Defender could indeed benefit from a remote-control system that would allow the driver to leave the beaten path without being behind the wheel of his vehicle.


The technology has no name yet, but it promises to offer a lot to future owners. Essentially, it would allow the driver to leave the vehicle and use the key to remotely guide the Land Rover Defender slowly through the most complex obstacles.


If there is a manufacturer who can develop this kind of technology, it's Land Rover. To be continued!
