If you require more power, the Mild Hybrid Electric (MHEV) R-Dynamic S and HSE grades offer more. The R-Dynamic S includes the P340 engine that generates 335 horsepower, while the HSE generates 395 horsepower with its P400 engine.

In comparison, the GLC 300 peaks at 255 horsepower, and the GLC 350e reaches 315. However, if you want horsepower that exceeds the Velar's capabilities, you will have to upgrade far up into the exclusive AMG line. The GLC 63 S comes with the lineup's highest price tag and rather excessive and less efficient 503 horsepower. Unless you plan to use your vehicle for drag racing, you probably don't require over 500 horsepower to run errands or go on vacation.

The 2022 Range Rover Velar is more versatile
