2022 Land Rover Discovery Sport: A True Legend

The new Land Rover Discovery Sport is gaining traction in Canada with not only its style, technology, and luxury, but raw DNA that makes Land Rover a leader in off-road driving. It goes where other luxury SUVs won’t.

The Discovery Sport is unique, but it also reflects the heritage of its Land Rover predecessors. It stands 1,727 mm in height, enabling you to see more as you take it on adventures. It also provides 211 mm of ground clearance, which is important to avoid small obstructions on many trails. The wheelbase of 2,741 mm and length of 4,597 mm provide optimal dimensions for stability and handling.

The 2022 Land Rover Discovery Sport Has Two Power Options

The Land Rover Discovery Sport line features the P250 AWD, a turbocharged 2.0 L four-cylinder engine that produces 246 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. It is available in the S, SE, and R-Dynamic SE.

Each Discovery Sport features a nine-speed automatic transmission that boosts performance and assists with better efficiency. Trims with the P250 engine achieve a fuel efficiency rating of 12.6/9.7 L/100 km (city/highway) and hybrid-equipped models attain 12.3/9.8 L/100 km.

The 2022 Land Rover Discovery Has More Room and Protection

The Discovery Sport features over 1,000 litres of cargo volume behind the second row and 1,795 litres with the second row folded. This provides the flexible utility you need for family vacations, shopping trips, and more. Front-seat occupants enjoy 1,455 mm of shoulder room and 993 mm of legroom.

Available and standard driver assistance features include Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Parking, Blind Spot Monitor, Brake Assist, Cross-Traffic Alert, Cruise Control, Heads-Up Display, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, Rear Parking Aid, and Tire Pressure Monitor.
