2020 Range Rover Evoque vs. 2020 Audi Q5

The Evoque is a luxury crossover that adapts to many roads and trails across our beautiful province. Ultrasonic sensors enable the Evoque to wade up to 60 cm, and optional Wade Sensing detects water depth. Six available trims provide a host of standard and available equipment fit for your needs. Here, we compare it to the 2020 Audi Q5 to illustrate some of the Evoque’s many strengths.

The 2020 Range Rover Evoque has more features you want

Range Rover takes important steps to listen to its customers by adding features that you won’t find in the Q5. inside, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto expand entertainment options for any trip. Add HD radio and disk and media storage, and your listening experiences multiply. The available Wi-Fi hotspot makes device connectivity seamless and powerful. After a stressful day at work, Executive Class front seats provide a relaxing massage.

The 2020 Range Rover Evoque focuses on power and torque

The Evoque line features two powerful engines. The P250 AWD is a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine that generates 246 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. It outputs relatively the same horsepower as the Q5’s only engine (248) and is available in the S, SE and First Edition. It pairs with a nine-speed automatic transmission for best performance and contributes to a fuel consumption rating of 11.8/8.7 L/100 km (city/highway).

The R-Dynamic S, SE, and HSE feature the P290 AWD. More powerful than what the Q5 offers, it consists of a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine that works with an electric motor to increase efficiency and horsepower to 296 and torque to 295.

The Audi Q5 also includes a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The only offering in the lineup, it has essentially the same power output as the P250. Overall, the Evoque offers more variety and features the most powerful engine.

The Evoque also features Adaptive Dynamics, which actively controls dampers that adjust suspension settings for optimal comfort and agility for the driving situation. Torque Vectoring assists with cornering by applying controlled braking to control understeer, and the Active Rear Locking Differential increases traction and grip during off-road excursions.

The Evoque offers more equipment and choice, but it is also a distinct statement of style and luxury that you won’t find in any German crossover. You can shop for your car online with us.
